Two Years!

Two whole years I have been able to call Moscow home. I can not believe how quickly time has gone by. It feels like just yesterday that I was looking down, from the airplane window, onto the snow covered city for the first time. Moscow has never ceased to amaze me. Just this morning, when I woke up and looked out the window, I was awestruck by the beauty outside. Everything was covered in snow, no colours other than white to be seen. There was a steady, soft snowfall all day (which made me think of White Christmas) and the picture-perfect snow outside was a perfect ending for the month.
Earlier in January, I was home on winter break. During the time this month that I was home, I was very busy. For American school I had around 7 proctored exams that I had to take (got all A's!), and then I started my second semester classes. The rest of my time was spent in the dance/yoga studio, hanging out with my mom and friends (+their dogs, cats, birds, etc), exploring Cincinnati, and even getting CPR certified with a school friend of mine.
I'm looking forward to see what new adventures this last semester as a Bolshoi Ballet Academy student, and high school student, hold!

XOXO,
Louisa
