The Start of Summer Break
All of my exams went well. I passed them all and have been accepted back to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy for my third and final year. This past school year flew by, and I know that next year will go by even faster. As for my academic schooling, I still have BYU exams to take. I did, however, get my final grades for math and English (both a 96%!). Now that I am done with high school math and science, I am focusing on the last classes I need to take. Just yesterday, I found out that I had been accepted as a student in BYU Independent Study. Now that I have a school I will be graduating with, I need to make sure that I take all of their required classes.
After my Bolshoi exams, I took the train to St. Petersburg to meet my aunt and her friend. We went to different palaces, museums, and restaurants in the few days we were there. Catherine Palace, in Pushkin, was my favourite of the palaces. St. Petersburg was beautiful, along with the few little towns we went to outside of it. We then went back to Moscow for a few nights, then on June 25, last Sunday, I came back. I met up with a school friend, Ally, on the 26 and my mom and I flew out to Pleasanton on the 28th. The trip was short, but it was still fun to go somewhere new. My mom and I walked to her meeting, drove by the bay, and we even had to stop at one point to let a turkey pass! On the 29th I came back, picked up a rental car, and went home. Today, June 30, I have my second doctor appointment since I've been home. Tomorrow I leave for my family reunion in the desert, so at one point I have to pack for that. Other than studying for exams and SAT, that's all that is new for now. :)
XOXO,
Louisa
