Snow!
The snow is now covering everything in sight and people are busy shovelling the sidewalks. It has recently been around -5 degrees celsius and it is only supposed to get colder! I have been very busy with my online school, as the end of first semester is coming to a close. Most of my classes have an end date of January 15 so my time home will be filled with many exams. While that is not something very exciting to look forward to, I have been making plans with my friends back home. Already my break is looking like it will be amazing. My mom bought my ticket as well, and I will be back home on December 18! My break will start out perfectly as I will go straight to my grandparent's new apartment at my moms work and spend the night with them. Although I will not get to see my studio back home do their 11th year of Nutcracker, I plan on going to a companies performance of it. It is weird not having long 8 hour Nutcracker rehearsal days, as that has been my normal for 10 years, but I know this year will be as great as the past years! The link to my studio's Nutcracker is below if you are interested in going!

I recently walked to a local park with my roommate, Alexandra, and a friend, Lauren, to support research for alzheimers disease. Every year I usually walk with my mom's work but since I could not be there this year I walked here in Russia. If you want, please go check out the website to learn more about the disease or to donate. http://www.alzheimersblog.org/
XOXO,
Louisa
